Carrie Cunningham is being called an authentic, sultry, and captivating voice on the New Country and Americana scene.  With the sass of Miranda Lambert and the sweet rich tones of Pam Tillis, not only does she engage and enlighten the audience within minutes with her voice, but also her stage presence.

Nashville-based Country music singer and songwriter Carrie Cunningham has just shared her brand new single Windshield, an upbeat Country song out now via Sound Barn Records.  “Windshield” is the seventh single from Carrie’s 2021 Showgirl Series. With bright and cheerful lyrics  Carrie’s positive energy shines through the music.

Co-written with Kevan Kirk and Brenna Beatty, Windshield is a bright and cheerful piece of music about life on the road and encourages listeners to explore the world.  You will embrace Carrie Cunningham's powerful, expressive vocals and how they soar over the upbeat production packed with intricate guitar riffs nicely intertwined with punchy drums.

Carrie Cunningham said, "Anybody who loves the road can understand where I am coming from with this single! I love to get in my truck and just go. I guess that's why I didn't mind being a traveling musician. Hotels and truck stops don't bother me. In fact, I welcome them! I know the next day, I will be seeing something new and that's what I love! Having the opportunity to see parts of the country outside of your backyard, see how other people live,  be it a different climate or different culture,  is so important. It's also a way for people to understand each other more as well! I'm always encouraging people to get out of their neighborhood, their city, their state and even the country. Just explore!"

Carrie has performed for ESPN2, Showtime Boxing, MLS, PRCA, The Spokane Symphony, Good Morning Northwest/ KXLY, Major Music Festivals, and is the only Independent artist to be signed back to back at the NW’s Largest Country Music Festival, Watershed.  She has also been featured in newspapers and magazines, such a Northwest Woman's Magazine.  Over the years, Carrie has performed all over the United States for festivals, fairs, concert series, radio and TV shows.  She has also made an impact on the International market where she has developed some loyal fans.

Cunningham has also opened for numerous acts, such as Kelsea Ballerini, Vince GillJames Otto, Diamond Rio, Restless Heart, Crystal Gayle, Kacey Musgraves, Collective Soul, Bryan White, Sugarland, Jake Owen, Chick Corea, Charlie Daniels and many, many others.

Carrie captured the title  of the FOE Eagle’s 100th Year National talent competition, and her EP “Let’s Dance” was named one of the “Top 10 Albums of 2017” by Women of Country Music. Cunningham's songs can also be heard on podcasts as theme songs, such as “Living Single” and “Medi-cast Medical”.

Cunningham became an International chart topper with 4 songs going number 1 and numerous  “Top Ten” slots, along with her “Secrets” EP reaching #1 for the top 50 AirPlay Direct Country/Alt Albums.

Carrie is unique, she one to not shy away from learning something new when it comes to music and she is not only a performer, but she is also a live sound engineer and music publisher.  With her skill set she has worked with national performers like Joan Jett, Lorrie Morgan, and Charlie Daniels to name a few.

Being a very compassionate person, Carrie feels her calling in this world is to help others.  She is philanthropic and has helped many people with her storytelling through music.  She has also worked with Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Vanished Children’s Alliance, C.A.S.A, The Special Olympics, Hope International, and Read Across America.   To take her generous nature further, she became a 3rd Generation auctioneer, focusing on Benefit auctions and  combining  custom built songs and auctioneering to make unforgettable events.

Carrie can still remember the night music called her name.  When she was lying in bed as a child, listening to the cool groove of the bass, the eerie keys and sax in the hit song “Maneater” by Hall & Oates, she became hooked on the power of a song.  When Daryl came in singing, all she could picture was an image of a woman turning into a tiger, and it fascinated her.   Having been through physical/sexual abuse and neglect, as well as being placed in a foster home, the song created such a vivid picture, she wanted to be a tiger.

Carrie made sure to escape reality of her home life by joining as many choirs as she could, which even landed a place for her with the Spokane Symphony Chorale for 5 years.  She got a degree in Voice & Composition in College and went back to college, after already having many years of being a regional Northwest entertainer, to study Audio Production.  During her time burning the candles at both ends being an entertainer and a live sound engineer, she signed on with the Independent label, “Divulge Records”.  Through the work of Divulge, she was able to partner with “Vanished Children’s Alliance” to make the video for her song “Smile Again”

This International chart topping artist is both a CMA and AMA member and is the Portland Chapter President of Nashville Songwriter's Association International. Although Carrie helps out with many charitable organizations, she has a direct partnership with Holt International, helping children around the world who need loving homes, or assistance keeping their families together.

As to new artists starting out Carrie's advice is, "Keep showing up.  Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do this business, because you can, and you will if you believe in yourself.  Success is measured with not only the huge public victories, but also the private and small victories.  Even when you feel like you aren’t making a difference or getting anywhere, just know there is someone wishing they could be you."
