Bristol based Southern country rock-influenced band Hicktown Breakout will release their eagerly
anticipated self-titled EP on Friday, November 15th. The 5-piece outfit pride themselves on creating
unique and original music within the country realm infused with a rock tempo designed to engage
listeners across the globe.
Early 2019 saw Hicktown Breakout teaming up with fellow Bristol artist Danny McMahon and the
Puzzlemaker Studios for the release of their hit single 'Jo Lee' which also acts as the lead track off
their forthcoming record. The single was a huge breakout for the Bristol group, reaching number 29
on the Official UK Country iTunes Chart. The success of 'Jo Lee' has led to Hicktown Breakout
being invited onto various radio stations including BBC Wiltshire and even more impressive;
stations across the US.
The radio support is a clear sign that the band are what the UK and international country music fans
are currently wanting to hear on the airwaves, which sends a clear signal that Hicktown Breakout
are set to become major players within the ever-growing scene in 2020 and beyond.
The release of their inaugural EP is just the beginning.
