Thomas Fountain “Mountain Climber” EP Release
Singer-songwriter, Thomas Fountain is back with the release of his Sophomore EP, “Mountain Climber”. This EP maintains Fountain’s signature Country sound and is heavily influenced by the experiences of growing up in the North Georgia Mountains . The release of “Mountain Climber” is much different than the previously released self titled EP.
“I grew up in the North Georgia mountains loving fishing and chasing deer during hunting season because that’s what I loved to do (and still do today). I still remember my dad teaching me to be kind to everyone, even those against you. He said you never know when in life you may have to go ask that man or woman for a favor and they’ll remember what you did for him. I have found that to be true. So, in a sense, I think that’s why I’m so connected to my fans. They see that I genuinely care that they took time out of their busy schedules to help me or attend a show."
Fountain turns heads and shows his versatility with his release of "Mountain Climber", "I Don't Mind", "Break My Heart", and his latest release "It Don't Matter". "It Don’t Matter" is soon to be Country music’s next party anthem with Thomas’ raw, brutally-honest lyrics joining forces with a simple yet breezy, care-free feeling which creates a song that is sure to be an instant Country classic. “It Don’t Matter” will have you raising your glass in no time. All of Fountain's releases have seen play on large market stations and "Mountain Climber" was featured on shows like "Today In Nashville" and "Atlanta and Co", both NBC affiliates.
“I want to be able to pair a lot of quality content to each song. I think it will give the listener a variety of ways to experience the music. Creatively it allows the freedom to highlight the songs in a way that is unique. Much like chapters, the singles tell a certain part of the story that makes up the whole that is “Mountain Climber” We are making this EP available to everyone in the way they would like to receive it and I am very excited to see what the reaction will be.
Fountain has also shared some of the biggest stages with acts like Chris Stapleton, Charlie Daniels, Travis Tritt, Trace Adkins, Dwight Yoakam, Brett Young, Kellie Pickler, Riley Green, LoCash and more. The sky is the limit for Thomas and it's only a matter of time before the world knows all about his "Mountain Country".
Life is defined by journeys and Thomas has translated those journeys into raw and honest songs. Thomas has quickly developed a reputation for writing and singing timeless truths in his songs, building believers one show at a time. With his rugged-raspy, passionate delivery, Fountain brings a live show to audiences that undoubtedly gets fans on their feet and emotions rushing. The music that has influenced Thomas Fountain as a singer songwriter is well rooted in the past, however, he has taken that vintage edge and blended it with a distinct modern sound which is pure artistry.
